Kyi Kyi is a Managing Director of her own trading business, Right & Bright (Pharmaceutical Import and distribution Company) and the founder of Kyi Kyi’s House. Prior to founding her own company, she worked as an area development and project coordinator for an NGO- World Vision Myanmar. She currently runs 14 offices throughout Myanmar and manages 152 staff members.

Combating the culture of fixed gender roles in Myanmar has been an ongoing focus of hers and to fuel this issue she began the study of Enterprise Development and Women Empowerment. She attended the Women Enterprise Development Program at NISBUD, New Delhi, India in 2014.

In 2017 she studied and joined the Social Entrepreneurship School at Sandal Institute of Norway, Cairo, Egypt. Subsequent to which she attended the School of Peace-building, Mediation, Conflict Resolution, Security, and Inter-cultural Dialogue & Human Rights at the Institute for Peace & Dialogue in Baar, Switzerland. These courses have aided in molding her perspective towards creating and providing a holistic approach so as to efficiently develop her project; Kyi Kyi’s House.

Since 2015, she has been building an audience via the social media platform Facebook. There is a large community of women (over 200, 000) that consider themselves her mentees and therefore the aspects of credibility and trust have already been fostered.
